Portland, Oregon-based green coffee warehousing specialist provider Costa Oro has taken the trip up I-5 to one of the country’s other coffee capitals, Seattle, opening a warehouse there this Spring.
It’s the first major opening outside the Portland market for Costa Oro, which has been providing a range of green coffee logistics services since 2002. The Seattle opening was also well-timed with the recent Specialty Coffee Association Expo, which took place in Seattle earlier this month, offering company representatives ample chance to catch up with green coffee importing and specialty roasting clients.
Technically located in Fife, Washington, just off the interstate, the new location is providing container drayage from both the ports of Seattle and Tacoma for devanning and storage.
“The goal of the company continues to be to provide consistent, tailored service and communications to meet all the unique needs of all our partners in the marketplace,” the Costa Oro team said in a recent announcement of the new warehouse. “The team is dedicated to the success of all the coffee growers, importers and roasters that Costa Oro represents from a distribution standpoint.”
