Karlie Kloss’ 40th Vogue Cover for Vogue Spain’s June Issue Is Either Weird or Wonderful

Karlie Kloss is on another cover of a magazine and you won’t hear any complaints over here. Nope, she’s not solo on the cover of U.S. Vogue (seriously Anna Wintour… make it happen) but is back fronting Vogue Spain, following covers for Porter, Vogue Thailand and Town & Country over recent months. Five years after she made her debut on the Spanish fashion bible, the global brand ambassador for Estée Lauder makes a comeback for June 2018, which marks Karlie’s 40th Vogue cover overall. Photographed by Emma Summerton and styled by Patti Wilson, the all-American beauty strikes a pose wearing a floral-covered jumpsuit from Moschino’s Spring 2018 collection.

Members of our forums thought the cover was either weird or wonderful. “What happened to her arms? This is so weird,” Mint0102 said upon checking out the cover.

“It’s a terrible cover! They’re trying new things but I don’t think it’s working. It’s way too busy,” Benn98 replied.

“The shot used on the front is terrible, she looks like a flower-covered zombie slowly lumbering its way towards you,” tigerrouge pointed out.

Yet not everyone hated it. “Compared to all the commercial covers she has been doing lately, this is on a whole other elevated level. I like it,” defended forum member dodencebt.

“Oh this totally works for me, she sells it, and I will always give encouragement to any Vogue doing covers, done a bit differently,” Miss Dalloway said.

“Oh I love the cover! Something different,” RanThe agreed.

Brikin sure liked what he was seeing too, commenting, “I love it! It’s good to see Karlie doing artsy covers, I’m bored of all of the bland, celebrity-like covers and editorials she’s been doing for the past year or so.”
