Let’s Review the August Baking Challenge
August 2021 Sally’s Baking Challenge Recipe: Ice Cream Loaf Cake. August is usually busy with vacations and gearing up for back-to-school, so I wanted this challenge to be nothing but FUN. My team and I were thrilled to see so many ice cream loaf cakes this month and each with different ice cream flavors like chocolate fudge, strawberry, butter pecan (with caramel as the topping!), cherry chocolate chip, cookies & cream, and more. Some topped with whipped cream, some left the loaf cake plain, some added chocolate chips, and some made the batter recipe into a layer cake or cupcakes! There was plenty of creative control, which makes these challenges especially exciting.
Thank you so much for participating! We gathered as many ice cream loaf cake emailed photo entries as we could and include them below.
