September 2019 Baking Challenge: Homemade Cheese Bread

This is the year you are conquering your fear of yeast. We started the year with Homemade Bagels, moved onto Dinner Rolls, and now we’re settling into a completely homemade loaf of bread. The perfect back-to-school/start-of-fall baking recipe. This ultra soft bread is stuffed and twisted up with cheese. Wait until you see the swirls of cheese inside!!

August Baking Challenge: Vertical Cake

Can you even believe that you made this skyscraper beauty of a cake? I thought we’d have a low participation rate in August because of the level of difficulty AND August is a typical vacation month. Well. Judging by all these towering vertical cakes, I was clearly wrong! Your stunning cakes make mine look amateur. I love all your cakes!

One of my favorite comments came from reader Aubrey:

“This was my first challenge to participate in and I loved it! What a fun idea! The cake turned out great and was fun to assemble. It was the most uniform looking cake I’ve ever made. I felt so accomplished after I finished. I’m looking forward to the next challenge!”
