July 2019 is the 30th Sally’s Baking Challenge! Launched in February 2017, Sally’s Baking Challenge began as a simple way to gather readers and bake the same recipe throughout the month. What started as a fun little project has amassed thousands of bakers all over the world, each participating in many of the past 29 challenges. And to celebrate the 30th challenge, we’re having FUN in July. There will be 3 winners!

JULY BAKING CHALLENGE

July 2019 Baking Challenge: No Bake Cheesecake Jars (recipe coming tomorrow)

As the summer sets in and temperatures rise, I figured a no-bake treat would be the perfect challenge recipe. Let’s have fun and get creative this month! We’ll combine graham cracker crumbs with a light & creamy no-bake cheesecake filling. Serve it parfait style with your favorite toppings and garnishes. I’ll provide many flavor options!

Think no-bake cheesecake, but quicker and individually portioned. Get your little jars, mugs, or glasses ready for serving. I use these adorable jars. ?

My assistant and I keep track of your photos and randomly select 3 winners at the end of the month. This giveaway is open to the whole world. Giveaway ends on July 30th 2019.

Recipe: On or around the 1st of each month, I publish a new challenge recipe. Sign up for instant email updates so you’re alerted as soon as a new challenge recipe is published!
Bake & Comment: Bake the recipe during that month, then come back and comment on the recipe and tell me how it went.
Share: Share your photos using #sallysbakingchallenge on Instagram or email me, tweet me, or upload a photo of your recipe to my Facebook page or Facebook group. By sharing your photo, you are automatically entered in that month’s giveaway, which is usually an Amazon $250 gift card. For a bonus entry, leave a review on the challenge recipe. June Baking Challenge: Angel Food Cake

Talk about a slice of heaven! Every month I tell you that I’m blown away at the participation in the baking challenges, but June’s participation REALLY warmed my heart. I expected the participation to be on the lower side since it’s a more challenging recipe, but you totally proved me wrong. One of my favorite comments came from reader Kaitlin:

“I am a new baker, so this recipe was a challenge for me. However, the video helped a ton, and I was able to come up with a finished product that I was proud of. It tastes amazing, and it was something I had never thought of making, so it helped bring me out of my comfort zone, which I loved. Thanks Sally!”

That’s what I love to read! You’re all pushing yourselves and trying something totally new and unique whether it’s challenging, moderate, or easy. Thank you for making these challenges so fun and successful. They would be nothing without you!
