Many of you tell me that yeast recipes intimidate you, so I published a Baking with Yeast Guide last week. We’re taking it one step further and dedicating the April Baking Challenge to homemade dinner rolls. Yeast recipes seem so complicated, but when you understand what’s happening, they’re totally approachable. If you participated in the January Baking Challenge (homemade bagels), you know that baking with yeast isn’t too scary. And knowing how to bake awesomely soft dinner rolls should be a mandatory life skill. ?

By sharing your photo, you are automatically entered in that month’s giveaway, which is usually an Amazon $250 gift card. For a bonus entry, leave a review on the challenge recipe. March Baking Challenge: Lemon Bars
When life hands you lemons, you make… a ton of lemon bars! Each new month brings more Sally’s Baking Challenge participation and I’m so happy to say that March 2019 showed the most entries yet! Most of you baked lemon bars, but I saw several variations including orange bars, lime bars, and grapefruit bars. Some topped their lemon bars with toasted meringue topping and others shaped their lemon bars with cookie cutters. And many of you said this is your new “go to” lemon bar recipe. Thank you so much for joining me in March and sharing your beautiful lemon bar creations!
