New York Coffee Festival Postponed to 2022 as Pandemic Surges
The 2021 New York Coffee Festival has been postponed yet again due to to public health concerns.
In a message today, the festival organizer Allegra Events announced that the show has been pushed back to Oct. 7-9, 2022, making this the second year the show has been canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 show was scheduled to take place Oct. 8-10.
The New York Coffee Festival is one of at least seven consumer/industry hybrid events under the “Coffee Festival” banner produced by UK-based Allegra. It ran for five straight years beginning in 2015.
The London Coffee Festival is presently scheduled for Sept. 23-26. The other Coffee Festival that takes place in the U.S. is the Los Angeles Coffee Festival, currently scheduled for Feb. 10-12, 2023.
“After a thorough assessment of the Coronavirus pandemic in the U.S. and globally, and in the interest of the safety of all our vendors and visitors, we have made the very difficult decision to further postpone The New York Coffee Festival,” the group stated.
All tickets purchased for the 2021 New York festival have been automatically transferred to the 2022 event, though ticket and booking changes can be made here.
